This B&B was in a historic Octagon house just a mile south of Hammondsport. It's a beautiful location and Hammondsport is a great little town. The breakfasts were amazing and they were able to make everything gluten free. I highly recommend this lovely place.

The facility is beautiful with an outstanding location. Unfortunately, the room was not ready for check in at 3PM as advertised. After several "it will be ready in 30 minutes" responses from the staff, we were finally able to check in at ~4;45. Continental breakfast was advertised to be from 8-10AM. We showed up at ~8:10 and the dining room was still closed because breakfast was not yet set up. Waiting to see if I get the 50% refund back as promised from the front desk for the late check in. Still a beautiful place and would consider giving them another chance for that reason.

"The view is amazing! On to other comments: as I have found with most other coffee makers in a room, it was not clean. The shower: it needs full coverage of a door or a curtain, the water goes onto the floor. Also, the shower itself could use safety strips on the floor or a rubber mat to prevent slipping ..."

"It was mentioned continental breakfast and nothing mentioned in their website and only coffee and muffins were there Also staff was not helpful..there were lot of flies in the room and my kids were not able to sleep whole night but they said you can go to walmart and get bug spray."
